Like the daily sun, this verse too shines with a new splendour and brilliance at the beginning of each chapter of the Quran. No wonder the Prophet (Sallal Laahu Alaihi Wasallim) said: “Any important work that does not begin with Bismillah is devoid of Barakah.”

Background

Triple canvases of each 12 x 40 inch went through layer by layer of texture paste, fully covered with black acrylic paint and the lines of highly pigmented metallic gold, silver and bronze paints.

It was created with very minimal palette and days of work.
